  1. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade and Celebration

    The NAACP-Garland will host its 31st Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, followed by a special MLK Commemorative Program at the Granville Arts Center, 300 N. Fifth St. The weekend celebration will continue Sunday, Jan. 19, with the 2019 Garland MLK Youth Extravaganza at 4 p.m. All activities are free and open to the public.
