Holiday Closure Information

Holiday Service Delays

New Year's Day - The Hinton Landfill and Recycling Center will be closed on Saturday, Dec 31. The Hinton Landfill will be open regular hours on Monday Jan. 2.
The Recycling Center, Transfer Station and Sanitation Administration will be closed on Monday, Jan.2. 
There will be no disruption in collections.

Martin Luther King Day - The Recycling Center, Sanitation Administration, Transfer Station and Hinton Landfill will be closed Monday, Jan. 16.

Memorial Day - The Recycling Center, Sanitation Administration, Transfer Station and Hinton Landfill will be closed Monday, May 29.

Independence Day - The Landfill will be open regular hours on Tuesday, July 4. Sanitation Administration, the Recycling Center and Transfer Station will be closed Tuesday, July 4.
Trash, recycling, brush and bulky collection will not be affected. Please have your carts out by 7 a.m.

Labor Day - The Recycling Center, Transfer Station and Hinton Landfill will be closed Monday, Sept. 4.

Thanksgiving Day - The Recycling Center, Sanitation Administration, Transfer Station and Hinton Landfill will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23. 
Trash, recycling, brush and bulky collection normally scheduled on Thursday will move to Friday, Nov. 24.

Friday after Thanksgiving Day - The Landfill will be open regular hours on Friday, Nov. 24. 
Trash, recycling, brush and bulky collection normally scheduled on Friday will move to Saturday, Nov. 25.  
Please have your carts out by 7 a.m.
Sanitation Administration, Recycling Center and Transfer Station will be closed Friday, Nov. 24.

Christmas Day - The Recycling Center, Sanitation Administration, Transfer Station and Hinton Landfill will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 25.
The Recycling Center, Sanitation Administration, and Transfer Station will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 26. 
Residential Collections will not be impacted.
